Despite their small size raisins are packed with energy and are rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals. Raisins are naturally sweet and high in sugars and calories but they are beneficial to our health if eaten in moderation.
Dates offer a significant amount of fibre and a variety of vitamins and minerals including iron, potassium, B vitamins, copper and magnesium and calcium and antioxidants.
Dates are a high source of natural sugars so although high in fibre, once dried they should be eaten sparingly as the sugars are more concentrated.
Dried cranberries are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Although these cranberries are preservative free they are sweetened so should be enjoyed in moderation.
